Our workshops
I offer dynamic and interactive space science workshops tailored for KS1 and KS2 students. The workshops are designed to be both educational and fun, covering a range of topics from planets and stars to rockets, Robots and astronaut training.
Hands-on learning!
Engage your students with my interactive Space engineering workshops that brings space science to life! We construct real working prototypes from basic resources which enhance creativity, problem solving, fine motor skills and knowledge.
The activities are age appropriate and range from Rocket making and forces to Robotics and constructing model solar systems.
The students are encouraged to use their creative and engineering skills to construct simple but effective models which can be used in the real world. The young astronauts also discover the importance of working with others and using their combined skills to overcome obstacles and problems.
Curriculum aligned
My workshops are carefully aligned with the KS1 and KS2 curriculum, ensuring that they complement and enhance your existing science lessons. I make learning about space both relevant and exciting.
Inspiring the future
I aim to inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers, and explorers. My workshops foster curiosity, critical thinking, and a lifelong love for learning about space. I also bring along my custom NASA peak caps which the students can wear all day. This makes feel included in our team of cadets and creates a unique learning environment.
Engaging and inclusive
My workshops are designed to be inclusive and accessible to all students, regardless of their background or prior knowledge. I create a fun and supportive learning environment where everyone can thrive.
"The KS1/KS2 Space Science Workshop was an incredible experience for our students! They were completely engaged from start to finish, and it really sparked their interest in science."
